Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos midrange strategy helmed by Laughing Jasper Flint that synergizes outlaw creature types (Assassins, Mercenaries, Pirates, Rogues, and Warlocks) with theft and crime mechanics. The early game focuses on deploying low-curve outlaws to scale Jasper's upkeep trigger, exiling cards from opponents' libraries and casting their spells using any mana type. Mid-game turns leverage Treasure generation from cards like Grim Hireling and Prosper, Tome-Bound to cast stolen spells while triggering crime payoffs like Gisa, the Hellraiser and Mari, the Killing Quill. Victory is achieved by grinding down opposing resources, establishing board dominance with stolen bombs, and swinging with evasive or buffed outlaws alongside direct drain from Brainstealer Dragon and Rakish Crew. The deck boasts high interactive removal density but remains vulnerable to mass sweepers due to a lack of stack-based protection.
