Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses Lathril, Blade of the Elves to lead an aggressive Elf tribal swarm strategy. The primary game plan ramps on early turns using efficient mana dorks like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid to deploy Lathril by Turn 3. By Turn 4, Lathril attacks to generate Elf Warrior tokens, rapidly expanding the battlefield. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal threat by deploying massive tribal anthems like Coat of Arms, activating Ezuri, Renegade Leader, or amassing 10 Elves to activate Lathril's life drain ability. Without dedicated creature tutors, the deck relies on high tribal redundancy and draw engines such as Beast Whisperer and Skullclamp to maintain momentum. While vulnerable to board sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck presents high mana velocity and strong combat pressure that can eliminate a 4-player table by Turn 7.
