Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Nekusar, the Mindrazer leads a Grixis burn and wheel strategy designed to weaponize card draw against opponents. The deck functions by accelerating mana, deploying damage punishers like Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Razorkin Needlehead, and casting mass-draw spells such as Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Echo of Eons to rapidly deplete opposing life totals. In addition to symmetric wheel damage, the deck can secure immediate victories through infinite loops, notably attaching Curiosity to Niv-Mizzet, Parun or pairing Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank. Together, these complementary engines create relentless pressure that turns the act of drawing cards into a lethal hazard.
