Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is helmed by Kilo, Apogee Mind, leveraging its haste and tap-triggered proliferate ability to supercharge charge counters, +1/+1 counters, and poison counters. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient low-mana artifact ramp and utility permanents during the early turns, establishing Kilo on Turn 3 or 4, and repeatedly proliferating value onto engines like Astral Cornucopia, Insight Engine, and Steel Overseer. As the game progresses, the deck transitions into a lethal threat using mass counter doublers such as Deepglow Skate and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, or wide artifact animation via Cyberdrive Awakener and Akroma's Will. A compact interaction package featuring premium spot removal and counterspells keeps opposing commanders in check, while Ripples of Potential offers resilient protection against board wipes. The list balances aggressive artifact beatdown, alternative poison pressure, and compounding resource engines.
