Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai elfball-combo deck that treats the graveyard as a second hand. The commander's activated-ability amalgam turns milled Elves into mana, tutoring, and pump, while his legendary-elf trigger provides card advantage. The primary plan is fast Elf ramp into Thranduil, then mill/tutor key Elves and assemble infinite mana with Priest of Titania/Elvish Archdruid and Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination, finishing with Torment of Hailfire, Finale of Devastation, or Ezuri/Jarad. Secondary paths use Hermit Druid mass-mill into Living Death and the hidden Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally for tokens and landfall card selection. Against hate, the deck can fall back on a hand/battlefield elfball combo.
