Deck overview

This deck is a Bant +1/+1 counters midrange build commanded by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. It focuses on curving out efficient counter-bearing creatures and multiplying their power through consistent proliferate triggers. Early turns prioritize mana acceleration via cards like Incubation Druid and Three Visits, deploying Tidus on Turn 3. Starting on Turn 4, connecting in combat with modified creatures triggers Cheer to draw extra cards and proliferate counters across the team. In the midgame, the deck scales rapidly using engines such as Forgotten Ancient, Maester Seymour, and The Earth Crystal. It closes games around Turn 8 through decisive, evasive combat assaults enabled by Herald of Secret Streams, Chocobo Knights, or asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict. While vulnerable to mass exile effects, the deck maintains resilience through counter-preserving cards like Resourceful Defense and Together Forever.
