Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Treasure midrange list helmed by Smaug the Magnificent, a four-mana flying haste Dragon that drips a Treasure every upkeep and converts the hoard into a targeted burn trigger on attack. The ninety-nine floods the board with Treasures-early dorks like Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Generous Plunderer, and Reckless Fireweaver, midgame engines like Goldspan Dragon, Xorn, and Professional Face-Breaker, plus burst from Jeska's Will, Unexpected Windfall, and Ancient Copper Dragon-then cashes that mana and those artifacts out along several parallel tracks. Wins come from combat plus Smaug's Treasure ping, table-wide burn from Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist, drain from Mirkwood Bats and Nadier's Nightblade, a ten-Treasure Revel in Riches trigger, or a late Crackle with Power / Exsanguinate. Smaug is a convenient, recastable payoff rather than a load-bearing engine; the Treasure plan still executes from the ninety-nine if he is answered.
