Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Dina, Essence Brewer, focusing on an Aristocrats strategy that converts creature sacrifices into card advantage, lifegain, and +1/+1 counters. The deck generates steady fodder through token producers like Ophiomancer, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Awakening Zone, which trigger Dina's card draw on every player's turn. It leverages high-power creatures like Daemogoth Titan and Daemogoth Woe-Eater to supercharge Dina's tap ability or fuel devastating life-loss flings with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Board control is maintained via asymmetric creature attrition from Grave Pact, Savra, Queen of the Golgari, and flexible removal like Assassin's Trophy and Culling Ritual. Without relying on infinite combos, the deck wins through cumulative aristocrat drain from Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat, Bolas's Citadel burn, or explosive team-wide trample attacks powered by Blossoming Bogbeast.
