Deck overview

This Temur Dragon-tribal deck is helmed by Ureni of the Unwritten, a seven-mana Spirit Dragon whose enter and attack triggers dig eight cards deep and put a Dragon directly onto the battlefield - effectively turning the library into a second hand of free Dragons. The game plan is uncompromising battlecruiser: ramp into Ureni with land search and cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant, Nogi, Draco-Zealot, and Sarkhan, Soul Aflame, then chain free Dragon drops while haste anthems Temur Ascendancy and Dragon Tempest let the board swing immediately. Wins come through overwhelming combat: Atarka, World Render grants double strike to every attacking Dragon, while Scourge of the Throne and Full Throttle add extra combat steps, and Scourge of Valkas and Parapet Thrasher provide table-wide reach. Secondary engines include Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm token cloning, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Dracogenesis free-casting, and Conjurer's Closet blinking Ureni for repeated triggers.
