Thranduil "Elven Eulogy" by user9960138

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil turns every Elf in the graveyard into an extension of his own body. The deck is a graveyard-combo Elf tribal deck: it mills, discards, or tutors key utility Elves, then repeatedly activates their tap abilities through Thranduil. The primary plan is infinite mana from Devoted Druid plus Immaculate Magistrate, converted by Exsanguinate, Simic Ascendancy, Jarad/Lathril, or a huge commander swing. The secondary plan is Elf-ball beatdown with lords and token makers. The commander is the engine; without him, the deck becomes a competent but slower aggressive Elf deck. There is no double-faced commander in this list.
