Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Red spellslinger burn list centered on Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might. The primary game plan deploys low-cost pinger creatures like Firebrand Archer and Electrostatic Field early, followed by Ojer Axonil on Turn 4. Ojer Axonil replaces any red noncombat damage less than its power (base 4) dealt to opponents with 4 damage. This turns every single-damage ping, storm copy of Grapeshot, or low-cost burn spell like End the Festivities into massive multi-target strikes. Acceleration from rituals such as Rite of Flame, Jeska's Will, and Seething Song fuels explosive turns, while impulse draw engines keep the hand full of spells. Protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend leverage Ojer Axonil's high power to defend key pieces at minimal mana cost. The deck reliably closes games on Turn 5 by chaining cheap spells and wiping out all three opponents simultaneously.
