Rootha's Spellementals by user8293524

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment is a spellslinger token deck. The primary plan is to cast a high-mana-value instant or sorcery before combat, let Rootha create a huge flying haste Elemental, then multiply that token with copy spells and finish with extra combat steps or triple damage. Secondary paths use Young Pyromancer and Prismari Pianist to build a wide board, or transform The Emperor of Palamecia into The Lord Master of Hell as a graveyard-fueled finisher. Rootha is the scaling token engine; the deck can still function without her but loses its fastest clock. The hidden commander is The Emperor of Palamecia, which ramps noncreature spells and becomes a one-shot damage threat.
