Deck overview

This is a mono-black sacrifice combo deck piloted by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The primary game plan is to generate value through creature death triggers, using the commander as a repeatable draw engine and eventual board-wide drain emblem. The deck wins through layered infinite combos involving Phyrexian Altar, Gravecrawler, and Blood Artist effects, or the two-card combo of Exquisite Blood and Enduring Tenacity. It also leverages a dense tutor suite, fast mana like Dark Ritual and Culling the Weak, and powerful recursion to assemble its lines quickly. The commander transforms into a flying finisher with an emblem that turns every death into a drain, providing inevitability even without combos.
