Deck overview

This Selesnya deck combines life-gain synergies, graveyard recursion, and creature-based combo finishes. Commanded by Aerith, Last Ancient, the deck utilizes low-cost soul sisters like Soul Warden and Essence Warden to trigger incremental lifegain, fueling value engines such as The Gaffer, Exemplar of Light, and Aerith's end-step Raise ability. The primary win condition is the two-card infinite combo between Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista (or Triskelion), which can be assembled via tutors like Eladamri's Call, Worldly Tutor, and Finale of Devastation. Dense 1- to 2-drop mana ramp accelerates Heliod and Ballista deployment to consistently threaten a same-turn table elimination by Turn 5 with zero response cycles. When the infinite combo is contested, alternate win paths through Archangel of Thune board overruns, Felidar Sovereign, and Aetherflux Reservoir maintain pressure. The list is vulnerable to instant-speed interaction during combo initiation and lacks non-creature removal, but possesses strong recovery through graveyard recursion.
