Format: Commander

Commander: Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet equipment-voltron deck whose real engine is the back half of the two-faced commander, Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. The front face is a cheap 1/3 that digs four cards deep for an artifact on each activation - dependable, repeatable command-zone access to the deck's equipment - while the back face is a 5/5 flying haste that puts an artifact from hand onto the battlefield at the beginning of each combat, attaching Equipment to itself for free. Both faces matter; the deck is built primarily to flip and abuse the back. The primary win is commander damage: Genji Glove grants double strike and an extra combat, Aettir and Priwen scales him to your life total, and Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor doubles the hit. Secondary plans include Blightsteel Colossus infect, a Krang, Utrom Warlord-powered artifact army, and the Ultron, Artificial Malevolence copy engine, all protected by a dense countermagic and protection suite.
