Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis Spellslinger and Group Slug list commanded by Abaddon the Despoiler. Its game plan revolves around utilizing efficient, low-mana damage sources such as Spear Spewer, Thermo-Alchemist, Creeping Bloodsucker, and Sulfuric Vortex to deal damage to all opponents early in the turn. This life loss scales Abaddon's Mark of Chaos Ascendant ability, giving subsequent spells cast from hand cascade. Once the cascade engine starts rolling, the deck rapidly cheats additional spells into play, triggering potent exile payoffs like Passionate Archaeologist, Ancient Cellarspawn, and Keeper of Secrets.
