Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Partner midrange deck pairing Francisco, Fowl Marauder with Kodama of the East Tree. It merges early explore velocity and graveyard staging with midgame cost-cheating and high-power stompy combat threats. In the early turns, Francisco attacks alongside cheap evasive creatures to explore lands into hand while filling the graveyard with high-impact reanimation targets. Ramping into Kodama of the East Tree allows every subsequent permanent spell or reanimated creature to cheat an additional permanent directly onto the battlefield. The deck leverages efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate, Victimize, and Dread Return to deploy colossal threats such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Quilled Greatwurm, and Ghoultree ahead of curve. Lethality accelerates through combat amplifiers like Unnatural Growth, Berserk, and Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. While resilient to single-target removal through rich graveyard recursion, the deck relies on fair combat steps to close games.
