Deck overview

This Gruul deck leverages Aerid Konstrari to blend artifact-based ramp, Voltron combat power, and explosive token burn. In the early turns, it deploys efficient 1-2 CMC ramp and artifact lands to cast the commander ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once established, the commander generates Heartwood mana tokens on entry and death while scaling in power for every artifact on the battlefield. On Turn 5, the deck creates a critical threat by pairing the commander with double strike enablers like Embercleave or artifact entry burn pieces like Ingenious Artillerist and Reckless Fireweaver. Token duplicators such as Second Harvest and Devastating Onslaught multiply the board presence exponentially. Without nonland tutors or stack interaction, the deck relies on raw card draw and proactive protection spells to survive disruption, closing out games by Turn 7.
