Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Ninja typal strategy commanded by Splinter, Radical Rat. The primary game plan establishes early evasive creatures to activate ninjutsu abilities, quickly generating card advantage and tempo. Once Splinter enters the battlefield, every triggered ability of your Ninjas triggers an additional time, dramatically accelerating combat damage triggers and on-hit value. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 5 by resolving devastating high-end Ninjas such as Shredder, Shadow Master or chaining multiple triggers from Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. Splinter provides built-in evasion by making key attackers unblockable for two mana, bypassing opposing blockers. A robust suite of low-cost interaction, including Flawless Maneuver, Dawn's Truce, Dovin's Veto, and Raise the Palisade, protects your attacking board and clears opposing creature defenses. The deck closes games swiftly across one or two combat steps while maintaining a massive hand of replacement cards.
