Deck overview

This Golgari deck harnesses the high redundancy of 17 copies of Slime Against Humanity alongside partner commanders Reyhan, Last of the Abzan and Slurrk, All-Ingesting to execute a snowballing +1/+1 counter beatdown plan. Early turns focus on mana ramp and deploying counter doublers like Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Corpsejack Menace. Once Reyhan is established, each cast of Slime Against Humanity creates an increasingly massive trampling Ooze token whose counters are preserved across deaths via Reyhan, The Ozolith, and Death's Presence. By turn 6, the deck reaches critical onset with multiple 10+ power tramplers that close out the table over consecutive combat phases by turn 8. While lacking nonland tutors and mass board wipes, its threat density, modular counter mobility, and efficient spot removal make it a resilient and relentless midrange combat engine.
