Faerie Control by angel.ng

Format: Commander

Commander: Alela, Cunning Conqueror

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Alela, Cunning Conqueror leads a flash Faerie tribal control deck that plays on every opponent's turn, generating a growing army of 1/1 Faerie Rogues and goading opposing creatures to clear a path. The primary win is an evasive combat attack boosted by pump effects and a huge Notorious Throng turn; the secondary path uses Intruder Alarm with Venser, Shaper Savant or Hullbreaker Horror for a bounce outcome, and the deck also carries extra-turn spells. The commander provides token production and a combat-oriented tax, while Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Cunning Nightbonder make flash casting easy. The deck controls the stack with 13 counterspells and 22 flash-speed pieces before finishing with a wide Faerie swing.
