Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu Vampire tribal aggro deck led by Edgar Markov, leveraging his eminence ability to generate a 1/1 Vampire token each time a Vampire spell is cast. The primary game plan is to deploy a wide board of Vampires, pump them with anthems like Legion Lieutenant and Shared Animosity, and drain opponents with aristocrats pieces such as Blood Artist and Cruel Celebrant. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage supplemented by incremental life loss. It lacks infinite combos but generates significant value through redundancy, card draw from Champion of Dusk and Twilight Prophet, and recursion via Sevinne's Reclamation and Veinwitch Coven. The commander's pump ability on attack and token generation from the command zone make it a resilient and consistent aggro force.
