Brimaz good?? by pjm10

Format: Commander

Commander: Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Phyrexian tribal go-wide strategy led by Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos. The plan is to cast Phyrexian creatures and artifact creatures to generate Incubator tokens with Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos, then transform them into Phyrexian bodies and grow the board with proliferate triggers. It wins through combat, not infinite combos. Anthems and token doublers such as Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Etchings of the Chosen, and Aron, Benalia's Ruin turn a swarm of Mites, Golems, and flipped Incubators into lethal damage, while Scheming Aspirant and Massacre Wurm add drain reach. Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos is important as an incubate engine and proliferate source, but he is not the only token maker. Cards like Darksteel Splicer, Essence of Orthodoxy, Blade Splicer, and Master Splicer generate threats on their own, so the deck still functions if Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos is removed. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built to use both sides of Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos - incubate on cast and proliferate at end step.
