Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mono-Green Stompy build centered on commander Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The core game plan revolves around accelerating early mana with 1-drop and 2-drop dorks like Llanowar Elves and Ilysian Caryatid, followed by deploying above-rate, high-power beaters such as Steel Leaf Champion, Regal Imperiosaur, and Gigantosaurus. These dense power packages drastically reduce Ghalta's casting cost to a mere two green mana as early as Turn 4. Once Ghalta enters the battlefield, the deck converts its immense 12/12 statline into overwhelming card velocity through power-matters draw engines like Greater Good, Rishkar's Expertise, and Return of the Wildspeaker. Combat lethality is maximized through trample enablers and explosive overrun effects including Overwhelming Stampede, Craterhoof Behemoth, and Unnatural Growth. While susceptible to well-timed board wipes and lacking stack interaction, the deck's extreme functional redundancy and rapid recovery capabilities allow it to threaten decisive combat finishes by Turn 6.
