Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue big mana strategy built around Braids, Conjurer Adept. Its goal is to deploy Braids on turns 3 to 4 and exploit her symmetrical upkeep trigger asymmetrically by cheating overwhelming threats into play, including Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Consecrated Sphinx, Sphinx of the Second Sun, and Inkwell Leviathan. Once a premier threat resolves, the deck leverages a dense package of versatile copy spells—such as Auton Soldier, Astral Dragon, and Spark Double—to replicate its best permanents and overwhelm opponents through sheer stats, massive card draw, and evasive flying attacks from Archetype of Imagination. A suite of efficient interaction and defensive phasing spells like Vanishing and Slip Out the Back mitigates Braids' inherent symmetrical drawback by protecting your pieces while denying opponents their free drops. The deck wins reliably by turn 7 through suffocating card advantage and wide combat pressure.
