Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue flash tempo strategy commanded by The Blue Spirit. The main goal is to control the pace of the game by casting creatures at instant speed during combat steps across all four turns of a rotation. Each creature entering during combat triggers the commander to draw a card, fueling rapid hand replenishment. The deck leverages efficient mana rocks, clone creatures like Phantasmal Image and Mockingbird, and robust card-draw engines like Rhystic Study and Consecrated Sphinx to dig through the library. While it can apply combat pressure and disrupt opponents with bounce spells and soft locks like Sludge Monster, its primary path to victory is assembling infinite mana with Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal. This combo draws the entire deck through outlets like Spectral Sailor and finishes the game on the spot using Laboratory Maniac.
