Commander: Kimahri, Valiant Guardian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic +1/+1 counters deck built around Kimahri, Valiant Guardian as a copy-and-grow threat engine. The commander puts a counter on itself, taps a blocker, and can become a copy of any opposing creature - letting it steal the best body on the table while accumulating counters via the deck's dense suite of doubling and scaling effects. The primary plan is to build one or two enormous trampling, unblockable threats through cards like Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and Zimone, Paradox Sculptor, then kill through combat with Herald of Secret Streams, Duskshell Crawler, and Sphere Grid. Card advantage comes from Prime Speaker Zegana, Hydroid Krasis, Tribute to the World Tree, and Fathom Mage. The deck is a midrange value pile with no fast combo line - it wins through incremental counter growth and overwhelming board presence.
