{B3}One drop Combat tricks (Massimo, the Magician) by Challenges

Format: Commander

Commander: Massimo, the Magician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Massimo, the Magician leads a Jeskai spellslinger deck built around stocking the graveyard with one-mana instants, then copying them through combat damage. The primary line puts Lightning Bolt into the graveyard, casts Massimo on turn three, and rides four commander attacks to 21 commander damage. Unblockable one-drops, Wraith's double strike, and Great Train Heist multiply the copies when the Bolt line is available. The secondary spells-matter plan uses Talrand, Kykar, Young Pyromancer, and Monastery Mentor to build a token army, while Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Sentinel Tower turn every spell into direct damage. Prismari, the Inspiration is the hidden storm finisher, letting a cantrip chain end the game once enough spells have been cast.
