Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal stompy strategy commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten. The game plan focuses on aggressive early ramp to cast high-impact Dragons and cheat additional threats directly from the library. Dense 1-to-2 CMC ramp spells reliably accelerate Ureni onto the battlefield on Turn 5. Upon entering and attacking, Ureni looks at the top eight cards to cheat Dragons into play, bypassing mana costs and creating massive board states. Value engines like Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Temur Ascendancy keep the hand full whenever massive creatures enter. Win conditions center on overwhelming aerial combat damage multiplied by Atarka, World Render, token swarms from Utvara Hellkite, and direct damage from Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas. The deck closes games around Turn 7.
