Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul mid-power build commanded by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The core strategy blends political group-hug token generation with brutal artifact attrition and aggressive Voltron beatdown. By giving opponents Banana tokens, Kibo incentivizes or forces artifact usage that subsequently supercharges his own power and toughness whenever those artifacts hit the graveyard. The deck capitalizes on this dynamic using asymmetric sweepers like Meltdown and Vandalblast, turning opposing resources into massive +1/+1 counter spikes on Ape and Monkey threats. To prevent opponents from turning their Banana mana into a winning advantage, the deck packs potent mass land destruction and artifact hate to choke opposing mana bases. Without deterministic tutors, the list relies on high-quality natural card advantage engines like Viridian Revel, The One Ring, and Return of the Wildspeaker to assemble trampling lethal attackers and close the game across multiple combat steps.
