Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact midrange and stax build commander by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. It leverages efficient artifact ramp and cost reducers to deploy high-value engines like Simulacrum Synthesizer and Mystic Forge ahead of schedule. The deck transitions into a game-ending threat around Turn 5 by animating noncreature artifacts with Cyberdrive Awakener, stacking massive Construct tokens, or dropping indestructible beaters like Krang, Utrom Warlord and Darksteel Colossus. Supporting cards like Defense Grid, Ghostly Prison, and Chimil, the Inner Sun protect development and hinder faster opponents. In the late game, asymmetric sweepers such as Organic Extinction clear opposing blockers, while the hard lock of Karn, the Great Creator combined with Mycosynth Lattice can shut down all opposing activated abilities entirely.
