Hermes, Overseer of Elpis by MrBooBear

Format: Commander

Commander: Hermes, Overseer of Elpis

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hermes, Overseer of Elpis is a mono-blue Bird-token engine that turns every noncreature spell into a 1/1 flying vigilant Bird and uses those Birds to scry on attack. The primary plan is to amass a flying board through instants, sorceries, and enchantments, then refuel with combat-draw effects and finish with an overwhelming flock or The Lord of the Eagles. Secondary paths are a Triskaidekaphile hand-size win and a Show and Tell / Omniscience / Enter the Infinite burst that converts the whole hand into tokens. Siani, Eye of the Storm acts as a hidden engine, turning the Birds into massive scrys; Alrund, God of the Cosmos // Hakka offers an extra flash body but is not the focus. The deck is a value-control build that wins through incremental advantage rather than a compact combo.
