Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Enchantress Control strategy helmed by Aminatou, Veil Piercer. The game plan revolves around exploiting Aminatou's upkeep surveil 2 and unique ability, which grants every enchantment in hand miracle with a {4} generic mana discount. By manipulating the top of the library with tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, and Brainstorm, the deck rapidly cheats overwhelming high-mana enchantments into play as early as Turn 5. Game-warping permanents such as Omniscience, One with the Multiverse, and Overwhelming Splendor establish commanding board states at a fraction of their normal casting costs. The deck stabilizes against aggressive opponents using potent pillowfort pieces like Sphere of Safety, Ghostly Prison, and Propaganda. Victory is secured through flying token swarms generated by Sigil of the Empty Throne and Shark Typhoon, mass enchantment animation via Starfield of Nyx and Zur, Eternal Schemer, or alternate win lines like Approach of the Second Sun.
