Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Forced Combat and Group Slug strategy designed to turn opponents' resources against one another. Led by Kardur, Doomscourge, the deck forces opposing creature armies into mutual combat trades while shielding your own life total and draining opponents whenever attacking creatures die. In the early game, the deck establishes on-curve mana rocks and card-draw spells before casting Kardur on Turn 4 to disrupt aggressive starts. During the mid-to-late game, the deck layers group slug enchantments, damage amplifiers like Dictate of the Twin Gods, and punishing board controllers such as Archfiend of Depravity and Kaervek the Merciless. As life totals dwindle from forced skirmishes, large reanimation effects like Sepulchral Primordial and burn spells like Fiery Confluence close out the table. The list excels at punishing creature-heavy boards but remains vulnerable to spell-based combo strategies and targeted removal due to limited stack interaction.
