Deck overview

This Bant deck combines legendary permanent synergies with go-wide creature token swarms. Commander Jedit Ojanen, Mercenary sits at the heart of the engine, converting every legendary permanent entry into a 2/2 green Cat Warrior token with forestwalk for just one green mana. Early turns focus on mana acceleration through land-ramp spells and low-cost dorks like Delighted Halfling. During the mid-game, the deck chains efficient legendary creatures such as Reki, the History of Kamigawa, Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar, and Arahbo, the First Fang, replenishing hand size while swelling the board. Token doublers like Anointed Procession and Parallel Lives compound this army rapidly. The deck transitions into lethal combat between Turns 5 and 6 using game-ending overruns like Beastmaster Ascension, Jazal Goldmane, or Akroma's Will. Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth grants all lands the Forest type, rendering the Cat army unblockable. Robust instant protection spells and asymmetric removal tools like Aura Shards defend the board and dismantle opposing engines.
