Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Spellslinger combo list built around Codie, Ravenous Codex and the Prepare mechanic. The primary game plan develops mana ramp on the first two turns, deploys Codie on Turn 3, and transitions into deploying prepare creatures by Turn 4. On Turn 5, Codie activates its five-color ability to reprepare all creatures, initiating an explosive chain of copied spells. Combining Elite Interceptor // Rejoinder for untaps with Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song and Storm-Kiln Artist for mana generates an infinite loop that draws the deck and drains opponents with Leech Collector // Bloodletting. The deck boasts immense card draw and mana velocity, though its reliance on Codie surviving a turn cycle creates clear vulnerability to creature and artifact removal.
