Deck overview

This Naya deck is commanded by Shalai and Hallar, converting +1/+1 counter placement directly into targeted player damage. It combines explosive mana acceleration and counter-multiplying permanents like Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and Hardened Scales to rapidly amplify both its creature board and direct burn output. Operating as a hybrid aggro-burn engine, the deck deploys low-cost ramp on early turns, establishes its commander on Turn 4, and escalates to a critical threat state on Turn 6. While vulnerable to timely board wipes, the list features resilient shielding spells such as Guardian of Faith, Selfless Spirit, and Inspiring Call alongside versatile permanent removal. Even without infinite combo loops, it reliably closes games by Turn 8 through overwhelming combat overruns and compounding burn triggers.
