Commander: Ghalta, Primal Hunger

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green stompy deck built to cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger as early as turn 3-4 by stockpiling high-power creatures. The back half of the game is dominated by overrun effects, double-power enchantments, and massive draw spells that convert Ghalta's 12 power into cards and mana. The deck has no true infinite combos, but it can win through commander damage, trample infect from Blightsteel or Tyrranax Rex, or by burying opponents under a lethal board after Unnatural Growth or Pathbreaker Ibex. It relies heavily on green mana dorks and land ramp to race, and its interaction suite is mostly green fight effects and protection spells rather than counterspells.
