Format: Commander

Commander: Toluz, Clever Conductor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Esper discard-value deck is built around Toluz, Clever Conductor as a reusable hand-recursion engine rather than a finisher: he exiles every card you discard and returns them when he dies. The deck pairs that engine with zombie/token generation and every 'leave your graveyard' payoff, turning routine discards into bats, zombies, cards, and life loss. Syr Konrad, the Grim acts as the closest thing to a hidden commander and turns mass-discard turns into table-wide drain. Secondary paths are a Candlekeep Inspiration alpha strike and a Bolas's Citadel sacrifice finish. The deck has strong interaction and enough draw to find pieces, but no compact combo, so wins usually require several discard loops.
