Deck overview

This is a Simic +1/+1 counter and token-generation deck helmed by The Astonishing Ant-Man, who converts card draw into counters and then converts those counters into a swarm of Insect tokens. The primary game plan is to establish a draw engine, stack counters on Ant-Man, then cash them out for a wide board that gets multiplied by anthem effects like Loyal Guardian, Unnatural Growth, and Defiler of Vigor. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage from a massive token army, with secondary lines through Hornet Queen's deathtouch fliers, Majestic Myriarch scaling, and the Esix, Fractal Bloom token duplication engine. The commander is the linchpin, but the deck has enough independent token and counter synergies to function at reduced capacity without him.
