Deck overview

This is a Grixis discard-and-draw deck built around Kefka, Court Mage. The commander immediately converts a table-wide discard into selective card flow, while Liliana's Caress, Waste Not, Monument to Endurance, Bone Miser, Tergrid, God of Fright, and Tinybones, Bauble Burglar turn discarded cards into damage, mana, creatures, or theft. The deck has unusually strong acceleration and a broad tutor and interaction package. Its main weakness is that the strongest threat requires several stages: cast Kefka, preserve it, pay eight mana to transform it, find a discard payoff, and then resolve a wheel or similar effect. The deck can produce explosive turns, especially with Windfall, Dark Deal, Psychosis Crawler, or Niv-Mizzet, Parun, but those pieces do not assemble into a dependable compact kill. It is therefore a powerful casual or high-power engine deck rather than a reliable cEDH list. Protecting the commander and choosing when to spend discard effects are central sequencing decisions.
