Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Dwarf kindred synergies, Equipment support, and the Storied mechanic under Thorin Oakenshield. The primary game plan curves out early with low-cost Dwarves and artifacts to achieve Storied by turn 4, granting ward {1} across the entire board. On turn 5, the deck deploys powerful combat enhancers like Fíli the Pathfinder, Dáin Ironfoot, and Balin, Loremaster to apply heavy combat pressure. Over the course of three response cycles, the wide, buffed Dwarf army attacks to eliminate opponents one by one, closing the game around turn 8. In addition to fair combat beatdown, the list contains an infinite combo with Godo, Bandit Warlord tutoring Helm of the Host to create unbounded combat phases. Defensive protection spells like Duty Beyond Death and taxation effects like Dáin, Lord of the Iron Hills help maintain board stability against opposing disruption.
