Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai midrange strategy centered on The Wise Mothman. It leverages radiation counters, mill triggers, and +1/+1 counter scaling to build an overwhelming board presence. Early turns focus on ramping into Mothman on Turn 3 and attacking on Turn 4 to distribute rad counters to all players. As players mill nonland cards during their precombat main phases, Mothman distributes +1/+1 counters across your creature suite, amplified by cards like Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Evolution Sage. By Turn 6, the deck presents high-power flying threats, supported by incidental drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim and wide Mutant tokens. Graveyard recursion through Evolution Witness and Muldrotha, the Gravetide ensures staying power, while protective instants like Ripples of Potential and Mutational Advantage shield the board from sweepers to close games around Turn 8.
