Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger/copy deck built to exploit Fire Lord Azula's combat trigger: she produces firebending mana on attack and copies every spell cast while attacking. The deck's primary plan is to cast Azula, attack to generate red mana, then chain copied rituals and copy-spells into a storm kill with Grapeshot, an infinite copy loop with Dualcaster Mage + Molten Duplication, or an extra-combat chain with Aggravated Assault and Savage Beating. A dense package of rituals (Dark Ritual, Seething Song, Pyretic Ritual, Desperate Ritual) and cost reducers (Ruby Medallion, Nightscape Familiar, Birgi, God of Storytelling) accelerates the mana engine, while Mystical Tutor and Gamble find the missing piece. The deck is fast, redundant, and highly explosive, with most of its combo lines living entirely in the 99.
