Azula's Ascension Bracket 3 by user7924388

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck is built around Fire Lord Azula's attack trigger. Once she connects, her Firebending mana and spell-copy ability let instant rituals chain into a huge Comet Storm. Kess, Dissident Mage sits in the 99 as a hidden backup commander, providing main-phase recursion. The primary line is an attack-trigger combo: ramp to four mana, get Azula to attack, chain Seething Song, Pyretic Ritual, Dark Ritual, and copy spells, then finish with a copied Comet Storm. Secondary paths use Primal Amulet // Primal Wellspring and Underworld Breach to generate mana or storm count, with Past in Flames and Mizzix's Mastery as recursion. The deck is fast but not fully deterministic; it depends on Azula attacking and holding a finisher.
