Deck overview

This deck is a five-color midrange spellslinger list centered on Codie, Ravenous Codex and the prepare mechanic. Early turns establish mana fixing and deploy low-cost prepare creatures such as Studious First-Year // Rampant Growth, Goblin Glasswright // Craft with Pride, and Elite Interceptor // Rejoinder. Codie enters on Turn 3 to duplicate prepared spells whenever they are cast from those creatures. In the mid-game, payoffs like Stirring Hopesinger, Thunderdrum Soloist, and Vega, the Watcher convert duplicated spell casts into board-wide counters, direct damage, and card advantage. Once five colors of mana are available, Codie's activated ability reprepares every creature on the board, refilling the deck's spell suite. The deck aims to close games around Turn 7 to 9 through wide combat attacks supported by double strike and evasion.
