Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin by cbudz

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a spellslinger-control deck built around Kefka's transform. The front face strips hands, while the back face converts opponent life loss into a draw engine. The true plan is to reach the back face and pair it with a Niv-Mizzet that pings on draw, creating an infinite draw-burn loop. When that line is unavailable, Hullbreaker Horror plus Sol Ring and a noncreature-cast pinger wins by recasting Sol Ring infinitely. The deck also carries a storm package (Grapeshot, Thousand-Year Storm) and a Triskaidekaphile alternate win. It leans on cheap Wizards and instant-speed interaction to survive long enough to assemble the engine.
