Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is the engine: he doubles every non-first draw and every token creation. The primary plan is to cast Bard, then combine draw doublers (Teferi's Ageless Insight) and token-on-draw creatures (Mischievous Mystic, Prince Imrahil, Homunculus Horde) with combat draw enchantments so each attack refills the hand and widens the board. Secondary paths are Smothering Tithe and Gleaming Splendor treasure ramp, Myrel's combat lock, and Throne of the God-Pharaoh drain. There is no double-faced commander; Teferi's Ageless Insight is effectively a hidden commander for the draw half. The deck wins by converting a wide token board into lethal damage with Moonshaker Cavalry or Akroma's Will.
