Deck overview

This is a Golgari Wolf-tribal deck helmed by Chief of the Wilds, built around doubling Wolf triggers and a heavy +1/+1 counter subtheme. The plan is to flood the board with wolves - via token engines like Ferocious Pup, Chief Warg's Company, and Head of the Hunt - then grow the team with counter synergies, proliferate, and Doubling Season before swinging with trample. The commander doubles every Wolf trigger, turning each token maker and value wolf into a two-for-one, while also growing into a 10/10+ menace beatstick itself. The deck wins through wide combat damage and occasional commander damage, with no infinite combos. It is a straightforward, value-oriented midrange build that relies on incremental board growth rather than explosive lines.
