Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth pilots a mono-black attrition and combo deck that leverages life as a primary resource to accelerate high-cost spells. The commander allows black mana symbols to be paid with two life, radically discounting expensive threats and enabling explosive turns. The primary win condition revolves around infinite life-drain loops using Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond. Secondary win lines focus on overwhelming the board with mass reanimation spells like Rise of the Dark Realms and Breach the Multiverse, or grinding down opponents with severe sacrifice and edict effects.
